1. TRD-N14 generates high torque for vertical lid closures but may hinder proper closure from a horizontal position.
2. To determine the damper torque for a lid, use the following calculation: example) Lid mass (M): 1.5 kg, Lid dimensions (L): 0.4m, Load torque (T): T=1.5X0.4X9.8÷2=2.94N·m. Based on this calculation, select TRD-N1-*303 damper.
3. Ensure a tight fit when connecting the rotating shaft to other parts to ensure proper lid deceleration. Check the corresponding dimensions for fixing.
1. Rotary dampers are essential motion control components widely utilized in several industries, including toilet seat covers, furniture, and electrical household appliances. They are also commonly found in daily appliances, automobiles, and train and aircraft interiors.
2. These dampers are also employed in the entry and exit systems of auto vending machines, ensuring smooth and controlled soft closing motions. With their versatility, rotary dampers enhance user experience in various industrial applications.
